The captain decides,
and that is the point.

A charter that leaves in weather it should not is not a better day out. The boats worth booking are the ones whose captain will tell you no and move you to Sunday.

What we do

Every charter has a licensed captain and a vessel certificated for the people aboard. No exceptions, including for a good customer.

How it works

How we work

Match the vessel to the party and the water, put it in writing, and let the captain make the weather call.

How we work

A Florida company, and the captain is in charge

HYachts LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L20000279917, filed in 2020, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations.

Every charter runs with a USCG licensed captain on a vessel certificated for the number of people aboard — more than six passengers requires an inspected vessel with a valid Certificate of Inspection, and we will not exceed that for anyone. The captain can alter or cancel a charter for weather, sea state or mechanical reasons, and that decision is final. Where our activity requires a Florida yacht broker licence under Chapter 326, it is held under [FLORIDA YACHT BROKER LICENCE NUMBER].

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

How many people can come?

Whatever the vessel is certificated for. Carrying more than six passengers requires an inspected vessel, and we will not put thirteen people on a six-pack boat however much anyone asks.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The captain decides, and the decision is final. We agree a backup date when you book, which is why we ask for one up front.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

It depends on the vessel and the charter agreement, and we will tell you plainly before you book. Either way the crew will not over-serve anyone and nobody underage is served.

Do you sell boats?

Only where our activity requires and is covered by a Florida yacht broker licence under Chapter 326. Charter arrangement is our main business.

Is the captain included?

Always. Every charter we arrange is crewed — we do not do bareboat rentals.

How far in advance should we book?

For a weekend in season, weeks. For a term charter, months. Provisioning and marina reservations need lead time.
